In Morocco every region has its own distinctive carpet style with specific features and motfs.Rural,urban or Amazigh(Berberb).Each carpet transmits an age-long heritage as well as being the fruit of an extraordinary creative imagination.Carpet weavers have celebrated thier hopes and dreams via thier carpet.The delicacy of Moroccan carpet making,number and type of knots per square meter,raw material chosen,symbols and colors chosen contribute to thew beauty of carpet and heritage.

   The Uraban Carpet : The Rabati,dubbed royal,is the most striking example.This carpet dates back

to the 11th century,possibly with roots from the east.Medalions,floral borders identify these styles of carpet.Fambouyant red is the dominant color.

  Fez Carpets: The motifs are very intricate,the dominant colors are blue and white.

  Amazigh(Berber) Carpets : Carpet weaving among the Berbers is the oldest.

   Middle Atlas : Zemmours,Guerrouane,Zayan,Beni Meguild,Ait Youssi,Mamouche,Beni quaryan,

Beni Sadden.

  High Atlas : Ait  Ouaouzguit ,glaoua : soft quality wool,vivid colors carpets,black colors,silky tone.

   Knoted areas alternate with woven areas.

  Taznakht carpets: Deep red,safron yellow and orange capets.
